We keep nothing about you

Bon titre works without an account or sign-up. What you type is used to compute your answer, and that is all. This page explains exactly what moves and where, in line with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).

What you enter in the form

Addresses, date, time, profile and town of residence are sent to our server to compute routes and fares. The origin and destination addresses are passed to Google (Routes service) to obtain public transit routes. We do not store any of this in a database. A copy of Google's answer stays in the server's memory for a few hours, with no link to you, so we do not have to ask again if someone searches the same trip.

What we do not collect

  • No name, email or phone number. The “Send by email” and “Share” buttons open your own apps; nothing goes through us.
  • No account, no password, no search history.
  • No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
  • No GPS position: Bon titre never asks for access to your location.

Traffic statistics

The site is hosted on Vercel and uses Vercel Analytics to count visits and page views. These statistics are aggregated and anonymous: they use no cookie and cannot identify a person. The host's technical logs (IP address, browser) are kept briefly by Vercel for security and operations.

Employer form

The form on the Employers page (in French) composes an email in your own mail app. What you send us then is handled like any email: we use it to reply, and we neither sell nor share it.

Your rights and the person in charge

Since we keep no personal information, there is normally nothing to access, correct or delete. If you wrote to us and want your email erased, or for any question about this policy, write to contact@bontitre.com. The site owner is the person in charge of the protection of personal information.

If this changes

If one day Bon titre offers to warn you by email when the price of your trip changes, it will be by explicit sign-up, with an unsubscribe link in every message, and this page will be updated first. Last updated: September 6, 2026.

Bon titre is an independent tool with no ties to the ARTM or the transit agencies (STM, RTL, STL, exo, REM). Prices are computed from the ARTM's public fare grid and are indicative: check when you buy. Temporary measures (free rides during construction) can change without notice. Routes provided by Google; stop numbers taken from the agencies' open data.
